Scientific Information Centre is introducing a new position – Data Steward for FSV. We are one of the first faculties at Charles University that provides this type of support for researchers. Jonáš Klos, who’s already in chargé of digitization, administration of the FSV Digital Library „Kramerius“, and more, is taking up this new job.

Data Steward is a new type of academic job that is meant to support the management of research data. Their mission is to help research teams with the increasing demands that need to be addressed when working with data, and also to support the principles of findability, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability (FAIR principles). Their job also is to connect the research teams with the Open Science Support Centre at the Central Library of Charles University.
