Opening hours from November 16

The library is open but only for returning or pick-up the ordered books. Entry will be allowed only individually and only to the space to the loan desk. Study rooms are closed. 

Opening hours:

Library Hollar: Monday - Friday 9:00-16:00

Library Jinonice: Monday - Friday 9:00-16:00

Library Opletalova: Tuesday, Thursday 10:00-14:00

We are closed on November 17, 2020 due to a public holiday.

Extension of loans

All loans ending in the closure period have been extended until December 7, 2020, and overdue fees will not be applied during the period from October 22 to November 20, 2020.

Ordering books

Please order books for borrowing already at home. You can order a book through the CU catalogue. Log-in by your university ID and your password (CAS/SIS). If you are not registered in the library, use the online registration: Electronic application. Find a requested book and in the Faculty of Social Sciences items click the link "Request". In the next step, confirm the order via OK.

Come to the library only after you receive an email asking you to pick the ordered books up.

Returning books

You can return books during the opening hours of our libraries. You can also send loans by mail to our address - see Contacts.
